Chen Dapeng, executive vice president, said that despite the Chinese clothing this year

industry

Sustained and healthy development has been achieved, and competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities have been further enhanced. However, the factors that restrict the development of China's garment industry are also very prominent.

At present, the overall pformation and upgrading of China's garment industry to build a "clothing power" has been launched in an all-round way.

Reporters learned from the Chinese clothing association today that before September of this year, China's clothing production rebounded sharply.

enterprise

Output increased by 18% compared with the same period last year, and the total social output increase is expected to be around 10%.

Over the same period, China's apparel and accessories exports increased by 19% and 14% respectively over the same period.

Chen Dapeng stressed that in the development of China's garment industry, we should also see that the factors restricting the development of China's garment industry are also very prominent: firstly, the difficulty of recruiting workers causes the whole industry to fall into the overall operating rate.

This year, due to the lack of work in the garment industry, the overall operating rate of the coastal areas has reached only 70%. Many large enterprises have also lowered their operating rate to 80% due to labor shortage and rising labor costs.

Second, the rising cost in 2010 has become an important constraint factor in the development of China's garment industry.

The irrational rise of cotton prices has led to almost all of the fast lifting of clothing raw materials, and the rise of water and electricity resources and the tight supply of energy have made the manufacturing costs of high buildings worse.

At the same time, the real warming of the international market is still uncertain. The economic and market demand of the developed economies has maintained a low growth rate. Exchange rate issues and trade protectionism are all problems that the industry must face.

He disclosed that at present, the international brand is accelerating to land in China, and has extended to the two or three line market.

Competition in the domestic market will become increasingly fierce.

In addition, although the domestic demand market is gradually out of the doldrums, especially the two or three line city market is developing rapidly, it has become a strong growth point to stimulate domestic demand growth, but consumer expectations for inflation are strong.

Therefore, the new way of industrialization, pformation of development mode, structural adjustment and industrial upgrading will be the only way for the development of China's garment industry in the future.
