According to Vietnam's textile industry development plan from 2015 to 2020, Hanoi will build the service, raw material supply, technology and design center and production base of high value-added products in the textile industry.
At the same time, the textile factories will be relocated to the industrial areas of Nam Dinh, Henan, Yongfu, North Ning, Ning Ping and Haiphong. The Red River Plain will form a textile export production base and 3 printing and dyeing industrial zones.
According to reports, the target of Vietnam's textile exports in 2010 was US $12 billion, the localization rate of products was 50%, the employment rate was 2 million 500 thousand, in 2015, it was US $18 billion, the localization rate was 60%, the employment rate was 2 million 750 thousand, in 2020, US $25 billion, the localization rate was 70%, and the employment rate was 3 million.
