Traffic police in Jakarta are wearing ice skates to command traffic in Jakarta, Indonesia's capital, which is known for traffic jams. A new "roller skating traffic police detachment" has been set up by traffic police departments to cope with traffic congestion.
Jakarta, which has 14 million inhabitants, is one of the worst traffic in Asia, and even traffic policemen on duty are often trapped on the road.
