The dress of Dong women is varied, or different in styles, or in different decorative parts, or in different patterns and techniques. The traditional dress of the Dong people is different from their colors and hairstyles and headpads. They usually wear casual clothes and emphasize practicality.

According to the characteristics of the Dong Nationality Women's clothing, the Dong costume can be divided into three styles, namely tight skirt, loose skirt and trousers.

The Dong nationality is divided into the southern Dong and the northern Dong. The dress of the Dong people in the south is very beautiful, and the handicrafts of women's good weaving and embroidery, Dong brocade, Dong cloth, cross stitch and embroidery are very distinctive.

Women wear no collar dress, with a fine horsetail embroidered piece on their skirts and sleeves, with dragon and Phoenix as the main design, with water and cloud patterns and flower and grass patterns.

Dong men's traditional men wear short pleated skirts and shoes.

A silver ring on a bun, a hairpin, a silver Chai, or a silver crown with Panlong dancing Phoenix. It is decorated with silver rings, earrings, traditional men's wear bracelets, waist pendants and other silver ornaments.

Sanjiang Dong women wear long skirts and skirts. Their long gown is a large collar style, with beautiful embroidery on collar and cuffs, no buttons in the middle, open embroidered bib in the middle, under the green cloth pleated skirt and embroidered leggings, flower shoes, big bun on the top, flowers, wooden combs, silver Chai, etc.

Luoxiang women wear green collars in the Spring Festival, surrounded by black skirts, lined with lace skirts, with a sky blue Bib before their waist, with white ribbons behind them and red ribbons.

Men's clothing is Baotou green cloth, collar collar jacket, waist belt, outer cover without buttons short shawl, under trousers, wrapped leggings, wearing grass shoes or barefoot, dress and other places embroidered.

Dong's horsetail back fan is a first-rate embroidery. Its shape is old, embroidery is refined, its design is rigorous, and its color is rich. It shows the wisdom and superb skills of Dong women.

Dress adornment: headwear and silver ornaments are the most exquisite ornaments of Ping Qiu women.

They keep their hair long, put the red hair on the head, then wrap the black gauze paddies, and put the silver hairpin and Silver Comb on their heads. They wear silver floral heads and silver headed crowns, and Ears Hang gold and silver rings. The neckline is arranged in two groups of silver buckles, plus two buckles, five necklaces with different necks, five silver chains and a silver lock for the devil, and a silver bracelet and a four square bracelet.

Silver ornaments include carved dragon, painted Phoenix, bird bug, flowers and grass, all made by local craftsmen.

This dress is simple, complex, silvery and tinkling.

Color characteristics: the Dong people mostly wear self woven, self dyed Dong cloth, like green, purple, white and blue.

BLACK CYAN is used for three seasons in spring, autumn and winter. White is mostly used for summer, and purple is often used for festivals.

Skirts are not seasonal but black.

Pay attention to color matching, usually in one color, the analogy is vice, and then contrast color decoration.

The primary and secondary is clear, the tone is bright and tranquil, gentle and elegant.
