Standard For Synthetic Leather For Protective Footwear In October

Recently, the Ministry of industry and information technology has officially approved 110 light industry standards, including the QB/T4044-2010 standard for protective footwear synthetic leather, which was drafted and formulated by Shanghai Huafeng microfiber material Limited by Share Ltd. The standard will be implemented from October 1, 2010.

Huafeng microfiber is currently the largest selling microfiber synthetic leather enterprise in China. It is one of the two drafting units of the QB/T2888-2007 standard for "polyurethane fascicular microfiber synthetic leather". The company started the research and development of microfiber protective footwear products in 2003, and was successfully researched and developed in 2006. It has become the only super fiber enterprise in the world that meets the EU's S2 standards, and has effectively filled the gaps in the domestic high-grade waterproof and waterproof labor protective footwear leather, and has greatly enhanced the core competitiveness of Huafeng microfiber products and brands. In May 2007, Huafeng ultra fine fiber successfully declared the patent for the manufacturing method of synthetic leather for protective footwear. The approved industry standard mainly specifies the classification, safety technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of synthetic leather for protective footwear. 　

At present, the main problem facing the domestic microfiber industry is intense homogenization, lack of R & D capability and lack of high-end products. Based on this, Huafeng ultra fine fiber has strengthened its development path of differentiation and high-end development at the beginning of its establishment, and has made technological innovations and product development in the first few years. In addition to the ultra fiber protective shoe leather, a series of special high-end products such as microfiber shoe leather, super fiber military leather, ultra fine automobile interior leather developed by the company have been tested by relevant standards, and the market prospect is good.
