The inspection and Quarantine Bureau was informed that a few days ago, XTEP (China) Co., Ltd. officially opened the store in downtown area of Wanhua District, Taipei. This indicates that the first independent sports brand store in Taipei has settled in Quanzhou, and has taken an important step for Taiwan enterprises to expand the Taiwan market.

It is understood that XTEP has shipped 294 cases of casual shoes in two batches.

According to the statistics of Quanzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in 2009, the Bureau inspected the products exported to Taiwan for 592 batches and 14 million 533 thousand dollars worth of goods. The main export products were shoes, sanitary napkins, ceramics, furniture, fans and so on.

With the warmer cross-strait economic and trade exchanges and the deepening of the construction of the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits, the pace of Quanzhou enterprises to set up shop in Taiwan is accelerating.

Prior to the opening of XTEP store in Taiwan, Dehua ceramic industry has set up Dehua boutique white porcelain sales outlets in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung respectively.
