Britain's Largest Women's Clothing Chain Will Enter The Chinese Market

Philip Green, 58, said: "we hope to enter the Chinese market next year." He said: "we have been in Hongkong for quite a long time, which will provide convenience for entering the mainland market." It is understood that last week, the group has just signed the agreement to enter the Brazil market.

Philip Green said the company is also planning to enter the US and Canadian markets and is still in the process of preparation. He said the company plans to open four to five stores in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and other cities. Last year, ArcadiaGroupLtd group opened its first branch in North America in Manhattan.

Philip Green said: "if you want to build an international brand, you have to set up branches in many countries."

ArcadiaGroup, founded in 195, is currently the largest clothing retailer in Britain. Since 1952, SirMontague opened the first men's wear shop specializing in selling Burton brand. So far, it has acquired and merged more than ten different brand clothing enterprises. Through the brand expansion in the clothing industry, the company has established more than 2000 regular chain stores in the UK, and has set up more than 200 franchise stores worldwide.
