The Ninth European Mediterranean Textile And Garment Exhibition Will Be Opened In Tunisia

According to the French textile newspaper, the ninth European Mediterranean textile and fashion show will be opened in Tunis from 18 to 20 July.

Of the 250 enterprises, 200 were Tunisian enterprises and the other 50 were European enterprises, from Germany, West, France, Britain, Portugal, Portugal and other countries.

Representatives of professional organizations who signed the Agadir agreement (Turkey, Morocco, Egypt and Jordan) will also attend the meeting.

The exhibition is divided into four parts: joint contracting and finished products, subcontracting, raw materials and accessories, and innovation.

In addition, a showroom is designed for the craftsmen, so that creative young people will exhibit European Mediterranean style skills during the exhibition.

During the three day exhibition, the organizers will arrange a series of activities, including seminars, which will be keynote speech by representatives from France and Britain.

There are two topics for discussion. First, the Agadir agreement stipulates that technical unification should be achieved in the free trade area before the end of April 2008. This will bring new business opportunities to the region, followed by a new trend in the consumer market.

At the same time, in order to promote the development of high and new technologies in textile and finishing, Tunisia also arranged trade fairs.

The last exhibition came to 2200 visitors, of whom 500 were foreigners.

This year, organizers hope that visitors can reach 3000 people and 600 foreigners. They are representatives of sales agents, import wholesalers and suppliers.

France is the guest of honour for this exhibition. The last is Italy. The Federation of French textile industries will lead the industry to lead the group.
